Delguercio: Read this and send this to your function to get the post
Rosenburg: How would you recommend doing the little lions, im trying to incorporate animals around the menu then have them be responsive.
Meadowcroft: Wait.so you are saying that I have to come up with the query variables to p*** to ajax.that’s the issue. I just have a permalink.
Jeng: ON this site, I did a whole bunch of editing to get the dog on a tranparent background http://bushwaller.com/
Jeng: Safari: but this really belongs in #CSS not #WordPress
Laprairie: What does get_the_permalink return? does it return the a href= or just the url?
Dunnaway: Return: stringfalse The permalink URL or false if post does not exist.

Garbo: Where’s the site name/url stored in the db?
Garbo: I have a site whose location I changed and can’t access till I change the configured site name and url
Crimes: Garbo: Google result for searchreplacedb2.php – wordpress-databases/">https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
Ferg: Jeng is the proper thinking to images to wrap around menu in its own entirely separate container, then style each img tag with inline styling? to place each image? essentially a solution using 1 div, or is it wrong to give each animal its own div?
Jeng: No problem with the divs, but do not use inline css
Lohrey: Isnt it bad practice to have a ton of divs for just singular items?
Jeng: Yes, but if it’s necessary to put things just where you want, sometimes you have to do it.
Jeng: The key is that you don’t want unnecessary markup
Lokan: What is bad practice about “a ton of divs”?
Jeng: Safari: did you see how I had the lions over the menu? I think that looked better.
Harders: I have optimize press and a static front page that displays by latest blogs. There are “page buttons” at the bottom i.e. pg 2, pg 3 etc but they do not seem to work. They all come back to the saem 1st page. How can I change tat so I can scroll through the pages?
Lokan: Lenny__: https://optimizepress.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
Lokan: Optimize press is not really wordpress anymore.
Jeng: Safari: it appears your modifying a theme you purchased. You *should* be doing your work on a child theme. When the theme updates, your changes will be lost.
Romriell: How do I make a child theme?
Ascensio: Safari: https://codex.----escape_autolink_uri:a03ded6cd97ffffa8f7b4e1454f3eecc----.org/Child_Themes
Hissem: Jeng: I went to do the upgrade last night. opened the services list on the server and IIS isn’t showing as a service. this server is more messed up than I thought lol
Jeng: Mr_Midnight: did the mysql update go OK?
Pertubal: Jeng: Once I saw IIS wasn’t showing up properly in the service list I called it a night and had some drinks instead
Lokan: Like saying “i have herpes” . can’t really read much into that.
Blumer: Jeng: first I need to fix IIS and then I’ll worry about mysql lol didn’t feel like digging into fixing stuff last night so I just let it go
Jeng: The headers say “Microsoft-IIS/8.5
Croxen: Jeng: I know. something is *****ed up where IIS is running and I can go into the management tool but it doesn’t show up in the services list. yay windows
Lokan: You could always format the machine and put an os on it. like linux
Jeng: Best option – move it to an external host.
Lokan: In this way, iis would be prevented from infecting the system
Ephriam: Opsec: I’m not familiar enough with linux to have that running as a production server in my envrionment
Conlan: Jeng: I’ll be talking to my boss about that later today
Jeng: Heh — https://image-store.slidesharecdn.com/9934b45c-098e-4bd2-880b-69e3e2c41877-large.jpeg
Fornkohl: Lmao exactly what’s going on with this job. I find one issue and 20 more show up
